Sir General Wesley Clark

The only time I saw him was on Meet the Press, and he was very impressive. And you could not make up better credentials!! He will be for more electable than Howard (Morgan Stanley) Dean (Witter) in the general election. But will the anti-war left be against him because he is a military guy?

Hear him here: The Diane Rehm Show - a July interview. At least on the Iraq situation, he is very articulate.

General Clark is a 1966 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point where he graduated first in his class. He holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar. ... is a recipient of numerous U.S. and foreign military awards, including the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He has received honorary Knighthoods from the British and Dutch governments and was made a commander of the French Legion of Honor. In August 2000, General Clark was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. Draft Wesley Clark for President
