2 shot dead

"Two men were shot and killed in a three-hour period late Thursday and early yesterday in the District, police said yesterday. Ronald Washington, 29, was found about 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Saratoga Avenue NE, where he lived, police said. Francis Jones, 31, was found about 2 a.m. yesterday in the 400 block of Park Road NW, police said. Jones lived in that block.Anyone with information about the homicides, which do not appear to be related, is urged to call police at 202-727-9099.
